The International Day of Friendship in a new light

Picture3.png

Celebrated on July 30, International Friendship Day was officially recognized by the UN in 2011.
It began in 1958 in Paraguay, when Dr. Ramón Artemio Bracho founded the World Friendship Crusade to promote peace through friendship after the trauma of World War II.
What started as a local movement grew across Latin America and eventually inspired the United Nations to honor this universal human bond.

An introspective journey on the occasion of the International Day of Friendship

We live surrounded by relationships—some lift us up, some drain us, and many challenge who we are.
But among all these connections, one fundamental relationship is often overlooked: the one we have with ourselves.

How do you recognize true allies—and distinguish them from toxic ties?
What if the key lies in becoming your own best friend?

This workshop invites you on a unique journey into inner friendship, using surprising and creative techniques to help you reconnect with yourself.

Inner Conflict: Why We Are So Hard With Ourselves?

Our inner world often feels like a battlefield, where conflicting voices clash:
the Perfectionist criticizes our mistakes,
the Wounded Child mourns our failures,
the Protector holds us back from taking risks.

These parts, though they have our best interest at heart, often express themselves through reproach or limitation.

But what if these seemingly opposing voices were actually clumsy allies?

This workshop will show you how to transform inner tension into a harmonious internal team—through insight, compassion, and creative exploration.

What will happen? (Without revealing everything...)

A creative process

Unique to meet your hidden "parts".

Surprise techniques

No, it won't just be drawing!

A personal response to the question:

"Who is my best friend?"

A space of trust

For those participating live — a place for connection and sharing among inspired members, a surge of support, and revelations brought forth through collective intelligence.

This time, we're going to play, have fun, get off the beaten track!

  • Neurographic drawing: bionic lines to connect tensions.

  • Intuitive collage: cutting out words/images (newspapers) that "speak to you".

  • Random messages: interpretation of sentences that appear as advice from your unconscious.

Let go: chaos creates balance!

For this workshop you will need:

Paper preferably 180g A5, A4 or A3

(desired drawing size)

Black ultra-fine and fine point permanent markers

Colour pencils and Highlighters (optional)

But also:

  • Prepare materials with text and/or images (newspapers, favorite book pages, printouts) - preferably on matte paper so that the markers adhere well.

  • Glue

  • Scissors

Tip: If you're using precious texts or books you want to keep, make tearable photocopies instead!

A Gentle Guidance

No prior artistic experience is needed—all you need is a desire to create and heal.

I will guide you through every step of the drawing, helping you navigate through your feelings and thoughts, while providing you with the necessary techniques to effectively express your ideas on paper.

This continuous guidance ensures that each participant can progress with confidence, regardless of the emotions or reflections that emerge.
